• We do not recommend chemically altering (lightener, dye, keratin treatment), your hair extensions, as this can compromise the integrity of the hair.

We recommend shampooing and conditioning your Hair Extensions only if they are holding an odor, or if they are holding product build up. Washing them too often can strip the moisture out of them, causing excess tangling, brittle ends and decreasing its lifespan. If dryness occurs, apply a Conditioning Mask to hydrate. Maintaining the condition of your natural hair with good quality products is very important, as is keeping your Zala Hair Extensions in their first-day condition, by storing and maintaining them properly. Zala sells a protective hanger bag and silky storage pouch to store your extensions, while they are not being worn. For the best results, store the hair extension storage case in a dark and dry location, without exposure to direct sunlight.
